April & Joe

April is a 5th grade school teacher in Kalamazoo, MI. She always wanted to be a teacher since she was a little girl. Her dad discouraged her because he thought teachers were under paid for their hard work. Well, he was wrong. Work is not work when you enjoy what you are doing. April was born to teach and she is a good teacher. She enjoys helping young people reach beyond their environment to achieve more than they though possible. In addition to teaching, April helps with the schools computers while she completes her masters in Education Technology. April is also the teachers union representative at her school.

Joe also works for the school system as a bus driver and activity monitor. He also does home construction and remodeling. He can do just about anything in construction but not around the house. His specialty is ceramic tile setting but he also installs and repairs windows and doors. His customers are pleased with his work and have given him excellent recommendations.
